South East Asia Major heats up: timings, schedules, more players!

South East Asia Major 2014 (SEA Major) hits Singapore this weekend, but are you prepared for it?

It seems like Itazan and Momochi are also heading into the fighting game fray, judging by a recently released promotional banner. Country signups now also include Australia, the United Arab Emirates, USA, Korea, Brunei, and of course, Singapore.

The three-day event schedule is also available, though, as you and I both know, things will overrun. SEA Major 2014 will run from 7:00 P.M. to midnight on Friday, June 20, from 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Saturday, and 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Sunday, with an after party lasting from 10:00 P.M. to 3:00 A.M. at an as-yet undisclosed location.

Those of you who can’t decide which day to attend should definitely head down for the grand finals on Sunday. Fighting game tournament finals are always full of hype, and are a great way to experience the local fighting game community’s passion for the game.

Alternatively, you can even sign up to be a part of the action. There is a flat venue fee of $30 for participants, and an additional $10 fee per game registered. Spectators will be able to watch for free.
