With 2013 coming to a close, itโs time to reminisce on the good times and Startup Asia Jakarta was certainly one of those. Helping us is Piktochart, which designed this fabulous infographic summarizing some key data and feedback about the conference โ held in Jakarta from 21 to 22 November.
The event had 1,255 attendees โ counting only those that collected tickets and are physically present โ up from 1,152 for the Jakarta conference in the previous year. The bulk of participants are entrepreneurs and developers, followed by corporates/government personnel, investors and the media.
The attendees came mostly from Indonesia and they gave an average rating of 3.9/5, good but certainly room for improvement. Our investor-startup dating sessions, which we held for the first time, also had great feedback. The hackathon saw a decent turnout of 236 programmers, who preferred the Android platform (expectedly), followed by Windows Phone (surprise, surprise).

If you missed the conference, read our articles on the sessions or check out our videos of the fireside chats as well as key highlights. More are on the way, so do subscribe to our YouTube channel and youโll be notified when we upload them.
You can also check out our upcoming Startup Asia conferences, which will be held in Singapore from May 7 to 8 and in Japan this coming September. Finally, a word of thanks to our sponsors and partners for making Startup Asia Jakarta awesome. Hereโs to 2014!
