Singapore IoT startup banks $25m in series B money
UnaBiz, a Singapore-based internet of things (IoT) service provider, has raised more than US$25 million in a new funding round.

- UnaBiz will use the fresh funds to scale up its presence in markets that include Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It will also look to push UnaConnect, its latest cloud-based solution.
- The latest funding round comes after UnaBiz announced the opening of an office in Tokyo as part of its objective to expand into new markets.
- Last month, the company was selected for an accelerator program in Japan under the Global Innovation Alliance, an initiative by Enterprise Singapore and Singapore Economic Development Board and run by Leave a Nest Singapore.
- UnaBiz has raised a total of US$35 million in funding since its launch in 2016. The company added that its valuation has more than tripled since the last US$10 million series A round in June 2018.
