US-based seed accelerator Techstars and Korean boutique capital consultancy firm Hillstone Partners announced the launch of a program aimed at startups focused on digital and tech innovation. Called Techstars Korea Accelerator in partnership with Hillstone Partners, the three-month mentorship-driven initiative will begin accepting applications in December.

The accelerator, which will be hosted at the Pangyo Techno Valley campus, will look for 10 top-performing startups per year, according to a statement. It’s scheduled to run from June 2020 through September 2020.
“This is a very exciting move for Techstars, considering Korea’s access to other major Asian markets, the country’s massive internal market, and the public and private sector’s interest in mobilizing the tech industry,” said Will Robinson, vice president of Asia-Pacific sales at Techstars.
