Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s soundtrack is ridiculous
Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be releasing a soundtrack March 26, 2014. The soundtrack will feature music up until the game’s 2.1 patch, which means 119 songs. That comes to over six hours of music.
Yes, you read that right. Six hours of music. I own several soundtracks to Final Fantasy games and none of them come close to that.
On top of that, the soundtrack will come with a blu-ray that will show you the world of Eorzea while the music plays in the background. Those who buy the first print editions will also get a code for a minion called “Mammet Bahamet” that you can use in the game.
The soundtrack will cost 5,250 Yen ($55) and will only be sold in Japan’s HMV, Sony Music Shop, and Square Enix’s eShop.
