PC and Xbox FPS/mech game Titanfall is one of the most anticipated titles this spring, and I’ve got good news for readers who are looking forward to blasting things with a giant mech: the game will be coming to Asia on the same dates as North America, which means no delays for Asian Titanfall fans. The PC version is coming to Asia March 11, and the Xbox 360 version is coming March 25.
The other good news is that the PC beta is about to kick off. If you want to get a head start in the game, you can try your luck signing up for a key right here.
The beta will include three game modes: Attrition, Hardpoint Domination and Last Titan Standing. Here’s the skinny on those, straight from the press release:
In Attrition, teams win by eliminating anyone or anything on the opposing side – pilots, titans and AI soldiers. In Hardpoint Domination, teams will capture and hold three hardpoints throughout the map to earn points and secure victory. And in Last Titan Standing, everyone on both teams starts with a titan in a round-based mode that ends when one team has lost all of their titans. There’s no respawning and no replacement titans can be called down.
Sound like fun? I got a chance to play Titanfall at TGS this year and if my experience is any indication, it definitely will be. So start saving up; you’ve only got a month or so before this thing is on shelves (both physical and virtual) across Asia.
