Look at the time – it’s already June.
How has your H12025 been? In writing this newsletter, I always find myself amazed at the funding deals companies can close even amid these trying macroeconomic conditions. They serve as a reminder that every cloud has a silver lining, and all we can do is focus our efforts on things we can control.
To answer my own question: It’s definitely been a challenging year, but I find a lot of joy and meaning in most of my day-to-day work. That’s the stuff I can actually do something about, and taking small steps toward improvement keeps me fulfilled.

The biggest deals by country
🇮🇳 India-based B2B platform Udaan has completed its series G round, securing US$114 million in equity capital. M&G Investments and Lightspeed led the fundraise, with contributions from both existing and new investors.
🇨🇳 D-Robotics is a Chinese robot chip firm spun off from autonomous driving firm Horizon Robotics. It has locked in US$100 million in series A money from Unity Ventures, GL Ventures, and 5Y Capital, among others.
🇮🇱 Zero Networks, a cybersecurity firm headquartered in Israel, has raised US$55 million in a series C round led by Highland Europe. Existing investors F2 Venture Capital, PICO Venture Partners, Venrock, and US Venture Partners also participated in the fundraise.
