TI4: Team DK to main event upper bracket, Team Liquid out of the tournament

Team DK fans may have been worried about the team’s performance with their strategies being leaked in a video by Gamefy, but with today’s performance, the Chinese Dota 2 made it clear that it wasn’t going to go down without a fight.

The first day of the third phase of The International 2014 (TI4) playoffs came to an explosive end as Team DK emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over C9. With this, Team DK has successfully claimed its spot at the main event upper bracket where they will be immediately up against US powerhouse Evil Geniuses (EG). The day didn’t end without casualties, though, as Team Liquid got knocked out of the tournament after falling to LGD. Both LGD and C9 will be seeded in the main event lower bracket. Here’s the bracket for phase three, day one:
