In this crazy world itโs sometimes difficult to get behind any one cause, but there are some causes that are so clearly fighting the good fight they simply cannot be ignored.
This is one of them: a group of die hard Sega/PC fans have banded together to form and support this petition in the hope of getting Sega to release a wider variety of games on PC. Itโs a great petition, the written plea makes for an interesting read, and most importantly, itโs realistic in its expectations.
The group requests that Sega port and release three games for PC as a kind of trial run to see if future ports will be viable. The games suggested are Bayonetta, Vanquish, and Virtua Fighter 5.
I canโt testify to Virtua Fighter 5 because fighting games make my eyes bleed and my thumbs go into spasms but I can confirm that Bayonetta is one of the most entrancing action games ever and Vanquish is more addictive than heroin-coated-crack, or โNintendoโ. I canโt help but agree that these games would make a big splash on the PC, and could certainly add to Segaโs reputation on a platform it has yet to embrace wholeheartedly.

Whatโs more, a tweet earlier today shows that Sega itself is aware of the petition, even if they have no official comment at this time. At the time of writing the petition had over 7,000 signatures. Letโs see how high we can get it!
