The Tokyo Game Show is almost upon us, and its organizer has released ticket information, as well as exhibitor numbers, if you needed any more incentive to visit.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) of the East, Tokyo Game Show 2014 will take place across September 18 to 21, and will see 224 exhibitors this year.

The International Pavilion area, subtitled the Asean-Japan Center, will see Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Brunei, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, and Taiwan exhibit, alongside Sweden and the Netherlands.

Hong Kong, Macau, and China are also participating independently in the show, together with European countries Austria, Germany, France, Ireland, and Spain, as well as Canada.

In addition, the total exhibition space of the existing smartphone and social game, game device, and romance sim game areas will be growing larger. Sony’s Indie Game Area will also be no slouch, having seen a total of 149 Japanese and 161 overseas indie game developer applicants.

Advance tickets and TGS 2014 Supporters Club tickets go on sale today, with an advanced adult ticket sold at 1,000 yen ($9.85, with adults defined as junior high students and up) and a supporters club ticket going at 3,000 yen ($29.50). Supporters club tickets net you a special t-shirt and pin badge, as well as priority entry to the show for a specific period of time after the doors open.
