It has been about a month since the last time we checked in with China’s PC gaming market to see what was buzzing, so let’s do it again. This month’s list looks pretty similar to last month’s, but there’s one major difference. Can you spot it?

If you guessed Guild Wars 2, you’re right. The game launched in China this month, and clearly it has the attention of China’s gaming public. As a new game, it will be interesting to see whether it can actually stay there, but at least for the meantime it has blown Hearthstone completely out of the top 10.
One other thing worth noting: although it didn’t make the top 10, at number 12 Dota 2 still came pretty close, so it could sneak its way in next month of Guild Wars 2, or some other game, loses some of its momentum.
