I was the first engineer at successful Silicon Valley startup Box. AMA!

Hi TIA community!

I’m Florian Jourda, ex-principal architect and first hired engineer at Box. I saw the company go public and grow from 7 to 1300 employees in the 8 years I worked there. Box offers secure content management and collaboration for enterprises. My day-to-day job involved building strategic products and solving Box most critical technical problems (like scaling the database). I also helped a lot define and maintain the company culture during the crazy growth. I’m happy to answer any questions, specifically on the following topics:
