I am a startup operator-turned-VC at early-stage firm SeedPlus. AMA!
NOTE: This AMA has ended. Find the Q&A with Tiang in the comments.

Hello TIA Community!
I’m Tiang, currently serving as the operating partner at SeedPlus, an early-stage VC firm based in Singapore. In my previous role, I launched the Evernote Singapore office and led market development in Asia Pacific.
At SeedPlus, I’m looking to invest in and partner with founders from Southeast Asia to build globally disruptive companies. Besides investing, most of my time is spent helping founders with company building through my involvement as a board partner. My latest investment is CardUp.co, a cash flow management platform headquartered here in Singapore.
Some questions you might want to ask me:
- We’ve launched our product and are now ready to raise our first VC round. How should I go about doing this?
- How do you make investment decisions?
- What are the differences between being an operator and an investor?
