Take my money: chibi Final Fantasy VII dolls and an Ace Attorney aluminium 3DS case

Square Enix is launching three chibi dolls to celebrate the 17th birthday of Final Fantasy VII and they are insanely cute. Though only the Cloud, Tifa and Sephiroth dolls will be sold, these 5-inch tall cuties are pretty affordable at just $29.99, meaning you can buy all of them with the spoils from your Lunar New Year red packets. Yay!

However they won’t be launched until August, so don’t get too excited yet.

I do have one complaint/observation to put forward, though: why are Cloud’s eyes blue? I know for a fact they were green! It’s mentioned repeatedly in the story and is clearly visible in every close up of him, so why are they blue here?

Along with the chibi dolls we also have Capcom launching their Ace Attorney aluminium case for Phoenix Wright fans everywhere. For a felt lined, 2-piece aluminium case, $19.95 seems to be a damn good deal.

The only drawback is that the case looks more like striped candy than a homage to gaming’s favorite lawyer
