SoftBank co-leads $200m round of Australian workforce upskilling platform
Go1, an Australian professional development platform, announced that it has raised US$200 million in its latest round of funding at a valuation of over US$1 billion.

- With the latest investment, Go1 has secured a total of US$280 million in capital to date.
- It will use the fresh funds to form new partnerships, expand its product offerings, and step up its physical presence in the US, among others.
- The Australia-based company said that over 70% of its revenue is generated from markets outside its home turf.
- Go1 has increased its user base by more than 300% year over year, driven by key contracts with the Malaysia and Singapore governments as well as its entry into newer markets.
- The startup also expects opportunities to grow in the US and Europe through its partnerships with Microsoft Teams, Workday, and SAP, among others.
- Clients can use Go1’s digital learning library to train their staff via programs that range from first-aid courses to university-level qualifications. Employers can also use the platform to onboard new recruits and ensure compliance with employment regulations.
