The Unboxed store is equipped with a facial recognition-enabled roving bot that gives customers personalized recommendations.
Customers can sign up for mobile plans, make bill payments, top up prepaid cards and Dash wallets, and get SIM card replacements through video-assisted self-help kiosks.

They can also immediately collect their purchases through an in-store PopStation.
The store, which is currently located in the central business district at 20 Pickering Street, is modular and movable. Singtel plans to move it to new locations in the country every few months to serve more customers.

“Our digital transformation integrates online and offline customer touchpoints to deliver fresh and fuss-free buying experiences to consumers,” said Yuen Kuan Moon, CEO of Consumer Singapore at Singtel.
Security for the store is provided by information and communications technology solutions provider NCS, which partnered with Singtel and SingPost to develop a round-the-clock security platform called Sentinel.
