SwipeRx, a Singapore-headquartered pharmacy platform, has received US$10 million as a series B top-up from Sanofi Global Health Unit and Cercano Management. Existing investors SIG, Johnson & Johnson, and Patamar Capital also participated.
Founded in 2014 by Farouk Meralli, SwipeRx connects more than 50,000 pharmacies and over 250,000 industry professionals across Southeast Asia. Along with B2B commerce services, it provides users with information to better serve patients and manage pharmacies.
The company works with pharma companies, governments, and non-governmental organizations to connect the entire pharmaceutical ecosystem.
SwipeRx will use the fresh funds to expand its ecommerce platform and further grow its pharmacy network.
In May 2022, the startup raised US$27 million in a series B round led by Indonesia’s MDI Ventures and joined by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and others.
