Previously, Lee helped lead early-stage companies to their IPOs, including 18 unicorns. She has experience working with firms in the edtech, fintech, robotics, and foodtech sectors.

Before her venture capital work, Lee served as assistant principal engineer at ST Aerospace. She is now a board member at Kauffman Fellows, a two-year venture capitalist educational program.

Meanwhile, Boeren is the CEO of Asia Sustainable Foods Platform, where he oversees new product development and the commercial scale-up of startups in the foodtech industry. He is also in charge of the platform’s joint ventures.

Before joining the platform, Boeren worked in the food and ingredients industry for over two decades, including leadership roles at Kerry, Symrise, Givaudan, and Unilever.

In February, Next Gen raised US$100 million in series A funding from Alpha JWC Ventures, EDBI, and MPL Ventures, among others.
