Ampverse’s portfolio includes esports teams, play-to-earn gaming guilds, and gaming collectible brands. It also works with gaming-focused content creators. Some of its notable clients include Disney, Samsung, McDonald’s, Lazada, and Porsche.
The company said it recorded a 125% growth in revenue in the last 12 months.
The esports firm was founded in 2019 by Ferdinand Gutierrez, Charlie Baillie, and Matthias Meti. Both Gutierrez and Meti previously worked at livestream firm Twitch, where they served as director of marketing and director of content, respectively, for Southeast Asia. Meanwhile, Baillie was the former managing director for Asia Pacific at RhythmOne, a digital adtech firm.
Ampverse operates in Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, India, and Singapore. It plans to use the fresh funds to strengthen its position in Southeast Asia and expand into Indonesia and the Philippines.
