Philippine profit optimization startup bags an additional $1m in pre-series A round
Mosaic Solutions, a cloud-based profit optimization solution provider headquartered in the Philippines, announced that it has raised an additional US$1 million in pre-series A funding from Gentree Fund.
The latest investment comes after the firm secured US$1.5 million in a pre-series A round led by Australian VC firm Investible in September last year.

Founded in 2016, Mosaic Solutions offers a subscription-based platform that helps digitize the day-to-day operations of its users and drive profit margin improvement.
It provides a suite of cloud-based solutions including data analytics, inventory management, point of sale, and purchasing for the food and beverage, retail, and hospitality industries in Southeast Asia. Its clients include restaurant and bar groups, cloud kitchens, commissaries, hotels, supermarkets, and convenience stores.
Currently, Mosaic provides services across the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam. It also plans to drive further growth in the Philippine market and expand across Southeast Asia.
“While the global pandemic has been a catalyst for digital transformation in the Philippines and across ASEAN countries, there are still strides to be made for our industry to be truly digitized and more efficient,” said Brett Doyle, founder and CEO of Mosaic Solutions.
The food and beverage sector, one of the markets that the company targets, is expected to reach US$5.6 billion in revenue this year, according to Statista.
