Medici operates an ecosystem of affordable insurance and health offerings through its network of care providers, which include Cathay Life, Liberty, Bao Viet, and Chubb Life. The platform, which is fully licensed by the Ministry of Finance, also rolled out MediciPro, a tech solution that helps insurers and carers process data and improve operations through training programs.
The startup was founded in 2019 by Duc Anh Ngo, who was a former acquisition manager at Grab. Since then, Medici has grown its presence to over 35 branch offices across almost 40 provinces in Vietnam.
The company plans to use the new capital to bolster its tech infrastructure and capture more of the market.
