Lesdo is a social network that caters to China’s lesbians. In addition to being a dating app, the startup has also created its own web dramas.
4. Yamap | Japan (Startup Profile)
Hiking and outdoors community and map provider Yamap uses GPS and map data to help hikers find their way even without an internet connection. Users can also keep travel logs with pictures that can be shared with the online community. Rescue workers have already used Yamap to locate five people caught in a winter storm in January.
5. Favful | Malaysia
Favful offers price comparisons and ratings for beauty products based on skin type, and features reviews from users to make the shopping experience less overwhelming. It also has beauty tips and easy barcode scanning, which allows people to view comprehensive information on the products.
6. Asia Media Exchange | Singapore
Singapore-based advertising provider Asia Media Exchange (AsiaMX) helps buy and sell TV and cross-media advertising across Asia. The company operates a platform called Advanced TV, which allows broadcasters to connect their television, online video, and mobile advertising inventories into an attractive package for global media buyers.
