Nearly three years after Spotify first landed in a handful of Southeast Asian nations, the music service is set to launch in one more – Indonesia.
Spotify took to Twitter today to announce the Indonesia rollout. The new @SpotifyID account says in its bio that the launch day is March 30. I’ve confirmed with Sunita Kaur, Spotify’s managing director for Asia, that it’s genuine.

Spotify will be up against Apple Music, Deezer, and Guvera in Indonesia, as well as a few homegrown services like MelOn, a joint venture between South Korea’s SK Telecom and Indonesian mobile carrier giant Telkom.

(Hat-tip to @Aulia on Twitter for spotting this.)
