Tech exec allegedly involved in sexual assault of Filipino events host

Bianca Valerio, an events host from the Philippines, posted a video on her Instagram profile sharing that she was sexually assaulted by an unnamed tech executive during a private party she was hosting in June 2021.

The perpetrator told her that he was working for a popular mobile app and gifted her wallet credits for the platform, Valerio shared in the video. She did not name the attacker.

Valerio alleged that the person took advantage of her, manipulated her, isolated her, physically hurt her, and then sexually assaulted her. “Even if I kept begging and begging and begging you [that] why are you doing this. Please don’t do this. Please stop,” she said in the video post.

However, she later found out that the person was not even invited to the private event and that he had a criminal record from 2014. The events host also alleged that no one at the party had warned her about the perpetrator.

Valerio added that the attacker had an infamous reputation and that she was only one of the victims.

“Now I know why many of his alleged victims have not spoken up. Because they had to live with the shame of being judged,” she said.

The events host said that she has chosen to break her silence because she realized that being silent helped no one but the attacker. She added that she will be initiating legal action against the person.

“With God as my strength, I have already won my inner battle. This is me claiming my power back,” she ended the video with these words.
