1. Trax (Singapore)
Trax, a provider of computer vision solutions for consumer packaged goods companies and retailers, raised US$100 million in a series D round led by Hopu Investments. The fresh funds will go towards its global expansion efforts, as well as the mass-market deployment of its retail solutions. More info.
2. Hmlet (Singapore)
Co-living startup Hmlet raised US$40 million in a series B round led by Burda Principal Investments with participation from Sequoia Capital India, Mitsubishi Estate, Reinventure Group, and angel investors. The funds will fuel its growth in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Sydney, as well as expansion into Melbourne, Brisbane, and Tokyo. More info.
3. Ralali (Indonesia)
Business-to-business marketplace Ralali raised US$13 million in a series C funding round led by Zigexn founder Jo Hirao and venture capital firms Arbor Ventures and TNB Aura, with participation from AddVentures and Qualgro. The funds will be used for technology and team development. More info.
4. aCommerce (Thailand)
aCommerce, a provider of end-to-end ecommerce solutions for brands in Southeast Asia, raised over US$10 million from KKR & Co and other existing investors. It aims to raise another US$5 million by the end of this year. More info.
5. Intelligence Node (India)
Intelligence Node, an AI-driven retail analytics startup, raised US$5.5 million from Cornerstone Venture Partners Fund, Calibre Ventures, MegaDelta Capital Advisors, and Orios Venture Partners in a series B funding round. The company is looking to grow its sales and operations in the US. More info.
6. Pomona (Indonesia)
Consumer analytics startup Pomona raised US$3 million in a series A-2 round led by Vynn Capital. The investment round included participation from Ventech China, Amand Ventures, Stellar Kapital, and Central Capital Ventura. The funds will be used for product and team development. More info.
7. Raena (Singapore)
Raena, a startup that partners with social media influencers to create and sell consumer products, raised US$1.82 million in a seed round led by Beenext. Beenos, Strive, Blume Ventures managing partner Sanjay Nath, and TPG Growth and Rise Fund partner Shailesh Rao participated in the round. More info.
8. Naluri (Malaysia)
Naluri, a digital therapeutics startup, raised around US$1.5 million in a pre-series A round led by Global Founders Capital with participation from Stanford-StartX Fund, TH Capital, private investors, and existing investors. The company plans to launch teams in overseas markets. More info.
9. Halosis (Indonesia)
Halosis, a chatbot startup targeting SME clients, raised US$1.2 million from angel investors in February. It plans to secure series A funding later this year or early next year. More info.
10. MadThread (Singapore)
MadThread, a fashion rental startup, raised over US$513,000 in seed funding led by AngelCentral partner Phey Teck Moh with participation from 11 other investors. More info.
11. Omise Holdings (Thailand)
Fintech service provider Omise Holdings secured an undisclosed amount of investment from Nomura Holdings. It will be scaling its operations for its payment gateway, trading platform, and blockchain-powered money transfers and payments tool suite . More info.
12. Zeta (India)
Neo-banking startup Zeta raised its first funding round. The company, which plans to expand into the US, the UK, Europe, and Southeast Asia, says the recent funding has grown its valuation to US$300 million. More info.
13. Krakakoa (Indonesia)
Bean-to-bar chocolate maker Krakakoa, secured an undisclosed amount of funding from Impact Investment Exchange, with participation from Ladies Investment Club VC and Systemiq co-founder Jeremy Oppenheim. More info.
14. Leben Care (Singapore)
Leben Care, an AI-powered retinal diagnostic startup, secured an undisclosed amount of angel investment in a funding round that saw participation from IP Ventures. The startup will use the funds to strengthen its marketing, product, and sales teams. More info.
