Indonesian consumer analytics startup Pomona bags $3m in series A-2 round

Pomona has raised US$3 million in a series A-2 round led by Malaysia-based venture capital firm Vynn Capital.

Ventech China and Amand Ventures followed on the investment round, which also included participation from existing investors Stellar Kapital and Central Capital Ventura.

Pomona gives its users cashback options for purchases at retail locations and rewards for checking in. For consumer packaged goods and fast-moving consumer goods businesses, the company offers a suite of analytical tools to drive consumer engagement and gauge the effectiveness of marketing and advertising initiatives.

With the investment, the startup plans to accelerate product development and grow its team. It’s also looking to develop new analytical products and services for companies to measure outreach effectiveness and improve supplier-retailer relationship management and business transparency.

Pomona, which is currently available throughout Indonesia, also said it wants to gradually expand its business regionally.

Prior to the series A-2 round, the company has raised capital from investors including Pegasus Capital and Ever.Haus.
