Rising SE Asian startups this week: Video creation-on-demand, luxury ecommerce, and more

1. 90 Seconds (Singapore)

90 Seconds, a cloud-based video creation platform that allows companies to quickly make online video content, raised a series B round. The company expects to use the funding to improve automation and intelligence. More info.

2. BlinQ (Singapore)

Luxury e-commerce platform BlinQ raised a seed round from a group of private investors. The capital will go to recruitment efforts and platform developments. The company also appointed a chief financial officer and head of people. More info.

3. Snaphunt (Singapore)

Online hiring marketplace Snaphunt secured seed funding to bolster its presence in Singapore and improve product development. Snaphunt’s platform leverages AI to provide a faster white-collar recruitment experience. The company is eyeing expansion to seven countries by 2020. More info.

4. JuiceInnov8 (Thailand)

Deeptech food biotech startup JuiceInnov8 raised a pre-series A round. The company, which seeks to develop juice beverages with lower sugar and calorie content, will use the capital to expand its core team of scientists and engineers. More info.

5. Ticket2Me (Philippines)

Ticket2Me, a blockchain-enabled ticketing services provider, secured seed funding to strengthen its presence in the Philippines and expand to cities outside Metro Manila and Cebu. The company also plans to open offices in Hong Kong and Malaysia to support its Singapore team. More info.
