Ticket2Me plans to strengthen its foothold in the Philippines by expanding to major cities outside Metro Manila and Metro Cebu. The startup will also set up shop in Malaysia and Hong Kong to support its regional office in Singapore.
The company claims to be “Southeast Asia’s first blockchain-enabled” ticketing platform. It has “hosted over 1,300 live events, accessed by over 11,000 unique users, and has sold more than 29,000 tickets,” Ticket2Me said in a statement.
Ticket2Me is planning a public sale of blockchain-based tokens this year. Ticket buyers and event organizers can use the tokens on the platform.
