Zilingo names financial adviser as debtholders recall loan

Embattled Zilingo‘s woes continue as its creditors recall their loan due to unfulfilled obligations, prompting the Singapore-based firm to hire an independent financial adviser “to explore options for the company,” reported Bloomberg.

This comes at the heels of CEO Ankiti Bose’s suspension amid a probe on an alleged accounting mishap.

“The first event of default notification was after my suspension,” Bloomberg quoted Bose as saying.

She earlier said that her suspension was connected to her harassment complaint. Zilingo has already tapped Deloitte to investigate Bose’s accusation.

Zilingo has also reportedly suspended its global head for public relations and communications due to a rift on an unvetted media statement.
