- Singapore’s first public buses with plants on their roofs were deployed Sunday as part of the Garden on the Move initiative by urban greenery specialist GWS Living Art, The Straits Times reports.
- Temasek Foundation funded the initiative, with support from the National Parks Board, Moove Media, and the Singapore Green Building Council.
- The deployment is part of a three-month study to find out if the plants can lower temperatures inside buses and potentially help save on fuel.
