List of Southeast Asia’s tech IPOs (INFOGRAPHIC)

(Update 14/April/2016: One of the companies mentioned in this article, MOL, yesterday announced it’s delisting from NASDAQ.)

Taking a startup all the way to IPO is still a rare event in Southeast Asia. Both companies and markets in this region are considered immature. That’s why Southeast Asian tech companies who go public tend to choose the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). This trend is likely to continue, as Australia is doing plenty to lure promising growth companies to list down under.

Malaysia and Singapore lead the way as the two Southeast Asian countries with the most IPOs. It’s worth noting that out of the 13 companies listed here, four are associated with Catcha Group, Patrick Grove’s digital empire that spans media, property, and ecommerce companies with a regional footprint.

(Update 29/01/2016: Please note that this list focuses on consumer-facing tech companies. If the term is defined more broadly to include tech infrastructure, telecommunications, or biotech, the list would be much longer.)

Before we run down the list, here are some facts about the IPOs:
