Video games are full of all kinds of cool items. But if you could have any one of those items in real life, what would it be?

Xairylle: This question came to me on a scorching morning as my neighbors were yelling and making noise again so my initial choices were either Dota 2’s Orchid of Malevolence (Silence, neighbors!) or Shiva’s Guard (Snow!). A more practical answer would be Hand of Midas because it would make me rich, but I’m the kind of person who prefers to earn money from working hard so my pride said, “no”.
So what would I really choose? I choose Dota 2’s flying courier. It will practically eliminate customs tax for me. In case you don’t know, customs tax in my country often amounts to 100 percent of the item you’re receiving. This is one big wall between me and ordering goodies abroad. With a flying courier, I can pay my shipment, send the flying courier in, and get my item. Simple! Goodbye, days of wishful thinking window shopping! It’s also an added bonus that couriers can also be cute little pets that don’t need feeding. All-around win!

This one’s purple but you get the idea.
Mary-Anne: I would want my Silver Riding Nether Ray from World of Warcraft. Mostly because, who wouldn’t want a flying mount in real life? No more cars!
That being said, it would probably be impractical as hell. Where would you keep a flying creature? And since the Ray is from Ogri’la, which was in the Blade’s Edge Mountains, I’m not sure how well it would acclimatize to the low altitude and high humidity of Singapore. What would it even eat? Does it drink water? Where is its mouth?
I would be a total badass though. In Singapore, road tolls are automatically deducted when you drive through gantries. But what if you flew above them?

Iain: Bag of holding from the old D&D games. The bag of holding is a bag that opens onto a space infinitely larger than itself: think Dr. Who’s tardis, but in a much smaller package. Unlike Dr. Who’s Tardis, bags of holding have all manner of protection to keep themselves and their contents safe and sound! Probably worth adding a hex or two so only you can pick it up, though!
Imagine being able to carry your entire gaming library in your pocket, or being able to smuggle anything you want, anywhere. Not allowed to take your own popcorn into the cinema? Screw you guys, I have a four-course dinner in that little purse!
And that’s just to begin with. Got a long train ride? Throw a bed, sofa or any other creature comforts you need in there and send yourself off in style. You could even consider posting yourself, if you can find a reliable postal company. Be careful with that though, customs can be a bitch!
