Ex-PayPal exec backs $5m round of SG cybersecurity startup

In Singapore, a company data breach costs S$3.65 million (US$2.7 million) on average, according to an IBM report. The report found that most breaches are caused by human error, which creates the need to improve employee knowhow to prevent future attacks.
Right-Hand Cybersecurity, a US- and Singapore-based, is on a mission to solve this rising problem for companies. It adopts a human-centered approach to cybersecurity that improves employee behaviors around security in real time.
It assigns a risk score to different behaviors that stakeholders can interpret easily, providing visibility into employee risk.
The company has raised fresh funds to expand across Asia and the US and invest in enhancing cybersecurity solutions on the platform.
