ON3: This is it. The final lap to win a three month Immersion at Silicon Valley
Plug and Play Tech Center from the US and the Science and Technology Advisory Council of Silicon Valley (STAC-SV), in cooperation with UP Cebu and CeBuinIT, recently held a pitching event, the Visayas round of the ON3 Startup Pitching Competition in the Philippines, from 10-12th April 2012.
The competition provided an opportunity for young Philippines entrepreneurs to present their technology business ideas and be heard by the same group of venture capitalists who have funded global internet brands such as Google and Facebook, among others. Check out photos of the competition here.
Now, the final few companies have been selected and they will compete in the national final round on Thursday, 12th July during the DOST National Science Week.
PRIZE:
– Plug and Play Tech Center will award the winners a 3-month Silicon Valley immersion and funding mission.
– Each startup will present to at least five top-tier VCs and angel investors in Silicon Valley.
– The winners will participate at one of Plug and Play’s EXPO series.
– Each startup will participate at Plug and Play’s three-day Silicon Valley Entrepreneurship Academy.
