Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) will hire 8,000 people in 2025 to expand production capacity.

The company will visit 20 Taiwan universities, starting with NTU, and host five online job events to attract global talent.

New engineers with master’s degrees at TSMC can earn an average annual salary of NT$2.2 million (US$66,875), well above Taiwan’s 2023 average income.

TSMC seeks professionals in engineering, telecommunications, chemical engineering, finance, business management, and law for roles in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, and Tainan.

The company has also opened applications for its summer internship program, prioritizing master’s and PhD students, with top interns potentially receiving full-time job offers.
