TikTok Shop surpasses Shein, Sephora in US spending

TikTok Shop has surpassed major online retailers such as Shein and Sephora in consumer spending in the US during the third quarter of 2024.

The report analyzed data from 11 surveys with over 3,000 consumers and noted TikTok Shop’s growth since its launch in September 2023.

It found that 80% of Americans who use TikTok monthly are aware of its shopping feature.

Furthermore, 45% of TikTok users reported buying fashion and accessories. Meanwhile, 44% purchased beauty and personal care items.
