SK Telecom has announced the beta launch of its AI agent, Aster, for the North American market in March 2025.

The announcement was made during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in Las Vegas, where company also opened beta registration for Aster to explore global opportunities for its AI service.

Introduced in November 2024, Aster is designed to assist with daily tasks like planning, reminders, and decision-making.

Chung Suk-geun, SK Telecom’s vice president, emphasized the importance of the North American beta launch in establishing a presence in a key market.

While specific targets for sales or user adoption have not been disclosed, Chung highlighted the company’s ambition to strengthen its position in global AI sector.
