SK Telecom T1 has found its new support player: Casper

South Korea’s SK Telecom T1 is pretty undeniably the best League of Legends team in the world right now. Or at least it was before the recent (and hopefully temporary) departure of support player Poohmandu, who is taking time off for health reasons. And now, after the conclusion of a tryout period earlier this week, T1 has found its new support player: Ji-min “Casper” Kwon.

Prior to being picked up by Jin Air Greenwings Stealths—the team SK Telecom T1 is taking him from—Kwon was known in the game as IceBear. He’s also somewhat famous for playing unconventional champions like Kayle in the support role, and it will be interesting to see if he continues to play support Kayle now that he’s with the most dominant LoL team on earth.

It’s not clear yet how long Casper will be with the team, as Poohmandu does not intend to retire and is still listed as a sub for SK Telecom T1.
