Cutesy point-and-click Chicky Duo from Kurechii Studio is one adorable adventure!
Kurechii Studio has done it once again. At Casual Connect Asia 2014, the studio didn’t just have tiny bodyguards in Tiny Guardians. It also had chickens in another new mobile game, Chicky Duo!

Somewhat overshadowed by its midcore sister, Chicky Duo is an iOS point-and-click adventure that is horrendously and impossibly cute. The art style is a bit softer than the polish Kurechii Studio is known for in King’s League: Odyssey, but boy, is it apt.
Chicky Duo follows the escapades of a brother-sister pair of chicks, whose mother has been stolen from them. She is presumably meant for the roaster, and it’s up to these two little chickens to save her.
Brother chick is the smaller but more intellectual one, and has different options in-game compared to his lazier but much stronger sister. Players will be able to swap in between both chicks on the fly.
Chicky Duo has extra challenges for those not content with simple environmental puzzle-solving. Every so often in the game, an actual puzzle will pop up, giving the simplistic Chicky Duo a bit more depth. The puzzles we tried ranged from dressing up the female chick’s egg to look like another, to making an ant drive all of its friends out of its nest. But fortunately for those who prefer less mentally-taxing adventures, these puzzles can all be skipped.
Chicky Duo is almost at the end of its development, and will be available in September this year.
