Hi TIA Community!

I’m Min-Liang Tan, Co-Founder and CEO of Razer, who, together with my partner, Robert ‘Razerguy’ Krakoff, designed the first ever gaming mouse. Today, we’re the world’s largest lifestyle brand for gamers.

At Razer, we live by the motto, “For Gamers. By Gamers.” We do that by making sure everything we create is something that gamers themselves will want, which is easy, since we’re all gamers.

Fun facts about Razer

1. When the first gaming mouse, the Razer Boomslang, was being tested in-game, we were doing so well that we were accused of cheating and the administrator kickbanned us.
2. One of our other gaming controllers was banned by a major league before it was launched for fears it would give the users too much of an unfair advantage. The ban was subsequently lifted after extensive testing.
3. We didn’t just design the world’s first gaming mouse – we pretty much created the entire multi-billion dollar gaming peripherals industry that we know of today.
4. We are one of the pioneers of eSports – and today we’re one of the biggest sponsors in eSports with over 250 eSports athletes under the Team Razer brand.
5. We’re often mistaken to be a hardware company – but we have over 20M users on our software platform and over 3M gamers log on daily to it.
