Exclusive: Singapore Web3 startup bags $16m from Sky9 Capital
NodeReal, a Singapore-based Web3 startup, has raised US$16 million in series A funding, the company told Tech in Asia. The round was led by China-headquartered VC firm Sky9 Capital.

Founded in 2021, NodeReal aims to help developers, Web3 firms, and large Web2 applications with blockchain infrastructure using scalable and efficient solutions. It can maintain system stability in an environment of millions of daily transactions and increased user access.
NodeReal will use the latest investment to develop its product to help its clients generate business opportunities.
The team has extensive experience in blockchain tech development and is focused on building a one-stop infrastructure that enables fast and efficient interactions among decentralized apps, on-chain data, and users. The company’s team members have previously held leadership positions at BNB Chain, Morgan Stanley, AWS, Microsoft, and Alibaba, among others.

Currently, NodeReal’s offerings include the MegaNode, a software communication protocol for BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Aptos, among others. Its scalable blockchain infrastructure is built for sidechains like the BNB Application Sidechain, and it enables firms to avail of layer 2 scaling solutions, APIs, and data services.
It also helps companies build their infrastructure with layer 1 and layer 2 protocols, along with Web3 community partners to enable blockchain education, talent development, hackathons, and conferences.
