No-code and low-code platforms have gained recognition for their ability to accelerate app development, boasting time savings of up to 90%. The market for such platforms is on the rise, with the low-code development industry estimated to reach US$36.4 billion in value by 2027.

ToolJet, an India-based startup, is looking to capitalize on this demand by building an open-source offering that simplifies the process of building web applications and enterprise software.

The company recently raised an undisclosed sum from the M12 GitHub Fund, a partnership between M12 – Microsoft’s venture fund – and GitHub. It will use the fresh capital to make new hires and improve the platform’s AI capabilities.
