Things are looking up for the Imperium Pro Team, as they have just acquired their first principal sponsor — Palit Philippines. The announcement was posted today on the Imperium Pro Team’s Facebook page.
Palit Philippines will be sponsoring all of the Imperium Pro Team’s Divisions —League of Legends (LoL), StarCraft 2 (SC2), and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (UMVC3). Thanks to this sponsorship, the team will be using Palit video cards in the machines at Imperium eSports Bar and Gaming Lounge where the teams also train.
Since UMVC3 is played on the console, UMVC3 player Garret ‘IPT.Garret’ Baluyot’s deal with Palit Philippines is slightly different. Baluyot will be using a computer equipped with a Palit video card for any upcoming video content produced for the team.

Imperium’s LoL team is currently competing in the Garena Premier League (GPL) Spring Split as well as the local League of Legends Pro Gaming Series. Their SC2 team captain Caviar “EnDerr” Acampado has qualified for the StarCraft 2 World Championship Series (WCS) America Challenger League.
