Let's play: XCOM Enemy Within single player, because it's totally awesome

OK, so it’s no secret that I like XCOM. And XCOM: Enemy Unknown‘s half-sequel, half-expansion Enemy Within really tickled my fancy, so much so that I gave it a 9.3 when I reviewed it last month.

But the sad truth about XCOM is that even a review like that won’t convince some people to give it a try, because it’s a very difficult game to understand unless you’ve played it, or something else of its ilk, before. Some games are easy to describe, but games like XCOM you really need to see in action to comprehend. And because I think more of you should be playing XCOM right now, I’ve created this quick Let’s Play video to show you the basics of the game and explain how the addition of Meld in Enemy Within has complicated the gameplay a bit.

What are you waiting for? Click the video below and watch me kick some alien ass.

Well, there you have it, folks! Stay tuned for a similar video running through Enemy Within‘s oft-overlooked multiplayer, which seems to finally be free of bugs!
