Leflair, a Vietnam-based ecommerce platform, has raised US$7 million in series B funding led by South Korea-based GS Shop and Cambodia-based Belt Road Capital Management. This marks GS Shop’s first direct investment in Vietnam’s startup space. The recent injection brings the company’s total funding to US$12 million to date. Leflair’s last fundraise was in January 2018 for US$3 million.
Loic Gautier, co-founder and CEO of Leflair, said it will use the funding to increase the flow of merchandise from South Korea. “It means investing in hiring the teams that will make this partnership a success and deploy resources in the areas of fulfillment, delivery, and technology,” he added.
