Web3-focused asset manager HashKey Capital has closed its third fund at US$500 million, raising money from sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and corporations.

Focusing on opportunities in emerging markets, the HashKey FinTech Investment Fund III will be financing global crypto and blockchain initiatives. These include toolings, infrastructure, and applications that could potentially be mass adopted.
The Hong Kong-headquartered investor was founded in 2018 and has since launched operations in Singapore and Tokyo.
Having managed over US$1 billion in client assets, the firm finances blockchain and crypto companies across different stages. It is also Ethereum’s earliest corporate investor.
HashKey has backed over 500 projects internationally. These include Animoca Brands, Cosmos, CoinList, Aztec, Blockdaemon, Falcon X, Polkadot, and Moonbeam.
In November 2022, HashKey’s Singapore operations won approval for its fund management license.
