Over 20 merchants on Foodpanda Shops will benefit from the partnership, including major brands such as Unilever, Philips, and Asus. J&T and Foodpanda said more merchants will be onboarded in the coming months.
J&T Express has also built integrations with Foodpanda to enhance the ecommerce experience for the latter’s merchants. With this, the partnership will allow customers to buy larger items and opt for next-day delivery as a more cost-friendly option.
Foodpanda Shops was launched in 2019 as the food delivery major’s online marketplace service. The platform currently has more than 4,000 merchant partners. It offers a wide range of product categories and provides same-day deliveries.
“This new milestone is in line with our ambition and strategy to expand our customer base by creating tailored ecommerce solutions for our partners, which is also a testament to our growing potential and momentum both in Singapore and globally,” Martin Tan, head of operation at J&T Express Singapore, said in a statement.
