Job Description
Special International Programs:
• Implement special international programs, for both incoming and outgoing students (e.g., Short Course, BIPA, Workshop, Internship, Volunteer Program, Immersion Program)
• Ensure internal academic and nonacademic operation processes related to special programs
• Communicate with Faculty / School members to address and resolve the academic issues of students on special programs
• Publish special programs opportunities for International students and BINUS students, and help facilitate successful application
• Communicate with internal units in BINUS involved in Special programs for students
• Communicate with related external institution involved in the special program
Admission Activities:
• Organize admission process for special programs for students
• Provide accurate and reliable special programs information related to admission services
• Communicate with related parties (internal & external) for admission settlement
• Organize registration process and monitor enrollment activities:
o Receive and verify applications & related required documents
o Organize the selection of participated students based on the requirement
o Monitor and follow up for every application submitted (visa process, payment)
• Communicate with related parties to organize all settlement for special programs:
o Academic placement (courses, class, detail schedule, etc.)
o Academic facilities (ID, internet access, library, etc.)
o Immigration and visa matters
o Other arrangement (health insurance, accommodation, transportation, etc.)
o Academic documents at the end of the program (e.g. certificates / transcript)
Student Relation Activities:
• Assist in the adjustment program for students in Special Programs (e.g. International Student Orientation, Pre-Departure Briefing; prepare material & execution)
• Assist in the welcoming & farewell events for both incoming & outgoing students in Special Programs
• Assist the incoming international students:
o in the cultural alignment activity: introduction session to overall Indonesian culture and the universities environment
o in the various activities to familiarize international students with Indonesian culture (e.g.: iBuddy program, weekend program, city tour)
• Assist the outgoing students in the cultural alignment activity and introduction session to the universities environment
Management Support Activities:
• Provide Report to direct Supervisor
• Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost)
• Perform activities related to Quality Management System
• Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study
- Minimum 2 years of experience in related field
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Fluent in Mandarin is an advantage
- Willing to be placed in West Jakarta
