Wolf has spent over a decade working as an investment banker in international markets including New York, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Through the new appointment, Sunday aims to drive accelerated growth in key insurance verticals such as healthcare, electric vehicles, and electronics in Thailand and Indonesia.

The move follows a string of hires for senior executives across the region from other financial institutions including PWC, Cigna, Avrist, and SCB TechX.

Founded in Bangkok in 2017 by Cindy Kua and Joanne Ying Fei Kua, as well as top executives at KSK Group Berhad and co-founders of automotive ecommerce platform Carmana, Sunday adopts AI and machine learning to underwrite its motor insurance and employee health benefits product.

Last September, the company raised US$45 million in series B funding led by Tencent, with other investors including Vertex Growth, Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India, SCB 10X, Quona Capital, Granite Oak, Aflac Ventures, and Z Venture Capital.
