Under the partnership, Lalamove drivers can avail of an exclusive discounted rate on Telepod scooters and receive rebate incentives for achieving delivery targets using the scooters.
Telepod will also offer flexible leasing terms for part-time driver partners or those who are only active during school holiday.
“Using Telepod e-scooter for delivery can reduce carbon emission and traffic congestion and, best of all, it costs less than other modes of transport,” said Telepod chief operating officer Louis Goh. “Long-term scooter leasing is a huge untapped market.”
Just last month, Telepod tied up with food delivery platform Foodpanda, launching a new service called Televery. The service allows delivery drivers to purchase weekly or monthly passes to use Telepod’s e-scooters at a special rate.
Telepod also partnered convenience store chain Buzz for distribution of spare batteries for its e-scooters.
